Generator Strategy: To Respond

Your strategy is to respond, and then to inform.

After informing and taking the first step, there will be a moment of truth where you will internally know if something is correct for you or not. Don’t ignore those gut instincts!

As a Generator, you have a defined Sacral center, which gives you sustainable creative energy which is used to do work. Now, this doesn’t mean mundane boring work, nope its energy meant to do the work you love.

You are designed to master your craft, although you will experience periods of feeling “stuck” along the way. Don’t worry this is a normal part of your Generator process and is an indication that maybe you need to disconnect from what you’re doing or focusing on.

???? It’s ok to take a break at times, even short little breaks will benefit you when feeling stuck.

When you are aligned with your strategy, you can easily live in an energetic state of flow that other types get envious of at times.

Like, Do you ever stop??? Of course not! But be aware,
as a Generator you may give your power/energy away by committing to things that you don’t want to do, simply because you think you should. This can lead to feelings of exhaustion, burned out, and being quite frustrated with the results of your work.

Here are a 7 Tips to help you stay aligned with your energetic type.

• 1. Write down or take a mental note of the things that create a spark in you. This will guide you toward identifying the things that you love and fulfilling work where you can dive into.
• 2. Refrain from initiating things or projects.Rather than initiating and making things happen, you are here to respond since this is your strategy and will bring you the most fulfillment in life.
• 3. Suggest to the people close to you ask you to ask yes/no questions, rather than open ended questions. As a generator, you don’t need a lit time to decide whether someone is right for you or not so it saves time and frustration if you are presented with yes or no questions.
• 4. Identify and do more of the things that bring you joy. You are a Generator so the more fun you have, the more magnetic you are!
• 5. Don’t try to force your ideas onto others, rather offer them as suggestions. People are more likely to hear you out when you approach ideas in a suggestive way rather than coming off as opinionated and domineering.
• 6. Only commit to things that you know are definite YES! As a Generator, you will most likely follow through even if the work isn’t something you like. However you don’t want to use your energy on things that are not fulfilling you, so commit to something only when you know it’s right for you.
• 7. Don’t Give Up. I know, life can be frustrating when they don’t work out for you, but you have the potential to work hard at something and see amazing results. Giving up too soon may not yield the success and desired outcome you were wishing for.
