How An Analyst Creates Your Chart

Here’s a step-by-step explanation of how a Human Design chart is created:

  • Gathering Birth Information: The exact birth date, time, and location (city and country) of the individual are required to create an accurate Human Design chart. The time of birth is particularly important, as it determines the positions of the planets, which in turn influence the chart’s design.

  • Determining Type: The first step is identifying the individual’s Human Design Type. There are five main types in Human Design: Manifestor, Generator, Manifesting Generator, Projector, and Reflector. Each type has distinct traits and strategies for making decisions and interacting with the world.

  • Calculating Centers and Gates: The BodyGraph consists of nine centers and 64 gates. Each center represents a specific aspect of life (e.g., communication, emotions, identity), while each gate represents a specific energy expression. The positions of these centers and gates are determined based on the birth time and date using a calculation system that combines elements from the I Ching and the Hindu-Brahmin chakra system.

  • Creating Channels and Connections: Centers in the BodyGraph are connected by channels, forming defined or undefined centers. Channels represent the flow of energy and information between different aspects of an individual’s life. These channels are created by connecting specific gates in the chart.

  • Determining Authority and Strategy: Each Human Design Type has a unique decision-making “Authority” and a recommended life approach or “Strategy.” The Authority guides how an individual should make decisions that are aligned with their authentic self, and the Strategy outlines the best way for them to interact with the world to create harmony and success.

  • Profile: The Profile is a set of numbers (e.g., 1/3, 6/2) that reveals an individual’s role and purpose in life. It combines elements from astrology and the Kabbalah to provide insights into how the person interacts with others and experiences the world.

  • Incarnation Cross: The Incarnation Cross is a central aspect of a Human Design chart. It combines two key gates from the Personality and Design sides of the chart to create a unique cross that represents an individual’s life purpose and direction.

  • Chart Interpretation: A trained Human Design analyst or practitioner then interprets the chart, considering the positions of centers, gates, channels, Authorities, Strategies, Profile, and Incarnation Cross. They provide insights into the individual’s strengths, challenges, life purpose, and potential areas of growth
